                             RESOLUTION NO.   20344 
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
                  A REVISED CONTRACT (NO. 306) WITH THE STATE OF
                  TENNESSEE, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION,
                  RELATIVE TO FUNDING OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF
                  ASHLAND TERRACE FROM NORCROSS ROAD TO THE
                  CHATTANOOGA CITY LIMITS, WITH THE CITY OF
                  CHATTANOOGA'S PORTION OF THE TOTAL COST TO BE
                  FOUR HUNDRED NINETEEN THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED
                  FORTY DOLLARS ($419,840.00), WITH SAID FUNDS
                  BEING PAID FROM THE CAPITAL BUDGET, SSA STREET
                  IMPROVEMENTS.
                 
                 
                                                    
                 
                 
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute a Contract (No. 306) with the State of Tennessee,
       Department of Transportation, relative to funding of the
       improvement of Ashland Terrace from Norcross Road to the
       Chattanooga City limits, with the City of Chattanooga's portion 
of
       the total cost of $2,099,200.00 to be $419,840.00, with said 
funds
       being paid from the Capital Budget, SSA Street Improvements.
